Nine injured in accident

PESHAWAR, Oct 20: Nine people, including women and children, were injured when a bus overturned after hitting concrete blocks on GT Road in limits of Hashtnagri police station on Saturday evening.

An official of Rescue Services 1122 said the bus was bound for Peshawar from Wah cantonment area when the accident occurred on Arbab Siknadar Khan Khalil Flyover.

He said concrete blocks were placed at end of the flyover to block entry and exit of motorcyclists.

“We have shifted nine injured people to Lady Reading Hospital, while some the injured minors were treated on the spot,” the rescue official said, adding that most of the injured were children and women.
