Four killed, 15 injured in accident

SUKKUR, Jan 2: Four persons were killed and 15 others were injured in an accident on the National Highway, near Mirpur Mathelo, on Thursday.

Gul Mohammad, Kulsoom, Sukhial Khatoon and Hussain were killed when a passenger wagon (R-1177), coming from Daharki, collided head-on with a trolley (K-4493).

The injured included Ayaz Ahmad, Allah Bux, Fauzia, Shamshad Khatoon, Asghar, Hashmat Ali, Hasina, Abdul Majeed and wagon driver Ayub.

The injured were taken to the Rahimyar Khan Hospital.

Hospital sources said Fauzia, Shamshad Khatoon and Hasina were in critical condition.

Eyewitnesses said the wagon rammed into the trolley while overtaking a long vehicle.
