Man strangles wife

CHAKWAL, Oct 18: A man was booked for strangling his wife to death, police sources said here on Thursday.

Ansar Abbas, a resident of Danda Shah Bilawal located in Tehsil Talagang, had registered a case on February 6 claiming that his wife, Nasira Parveen, had committed suicide.

The truth was exposed as Lawa Police received a mechanical examination report from Lahore which said the woman had been choked to death. The police have started efforts to capture the accused after registering a case against him.—Correspondent
