KUWAIT CITY, Oct 15: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Monday met the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah who as a special gesture came to the airport to receive Prime Minister Ashraf.

The Amir was accompanied by Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al Sabah.

Mr Ashraf conveyed the best wishes of President Asif Ali Zardari to the Amir and people of Kuwait.

The Amir said that participation of Pakistan and Prime Minister Ashraf was of great significance for the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Summit.

He expressed the confidence that interaction among Asian countries would be critical to forge close cooperation among the member states of ACD.

Prime Minister Ashraf thanked the Kuwaiti Amir and the government and people of Kuwait for extending an invitation to him for participation in the conference.—APP
