ISLAMABAD: The Federal Finance Ministry approved a price hike on all petroleum products excluding the price of high speed diesel, which will be effective from midnight, DawnNews reported on Sunday.

The price of petrol was expected to increase by Rs 3.04 per litre, the price of light speed diesel would be increased by Rs 0.48 per litre and the price of kerosene oil was expected to rise by Rs 0.72 per litre.

The price of high speed diesel was cut by Rs 2.7 per litre.

The per kilo price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) would be increased by Rs 2.78 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar and Balochistan (Zone-I) whereas the prices for Punjab and Sindh (Zone-II) would rise by Rs 2.54.

A notification in this regards would be issued tonight and all the price changes would be effective from midnight Sunday.
