SUKKUR: Four tribesmen kidnapped

SUKKUR, Dec 31: Ten armed dacoits kidnapped four Golo tribesmen from the Rajwah village, some 30kms from Kandhkot, on Tuesday.

The dacoits intercepted a tractor trolley and kidnapped the four tribesmen — Mohammad Ismail Golo, Ali Khan Golo, Abdul Sattar Golo, and Bahadur Golo. They also snatched their tractor trolley.

After the incident, hundreds of Golo tribesmen blocked the highway and raised slogans against the police for not being able to protect the people living near the border areas of Balochistan.

SSGC: An employee of the Sui Southern Gas Company, Ghulam Hussain Abbasi, was killed in an accident on Monday.

Abbasi was riding his motorcycle when he was hit by a Larkana-bound wagon. He was admitted to the Hira Hospital, Sukkur, where he died.

The police arrested the wagon driver.

MAN KILLED: Armed men opened fire killing a man, Sher Mohammad Soomro, on the spot while injuring his son, Mehboob, outside the Jalal Chachar village, Ghotki district, on Tuesday.
