SHERWOOD PARK (Alberta), Sept 29: Japan’s Saori Yoshida ran her string of international championship wins to 13 by taking out the women’s wrestling world championships on Friday, pinning American Helen Maroulis in the second round in the 55-kilogram title match. It was her tenth title in the worlds, adding to her three Olympic golds, surpassing the record of 12 straight international championship titles she shared with former Russian Greco-Roman wrestler Alexander Karelin.—AP
