KARACHI, Sept 28: The Centralised Admission Policy (CAP) on Friday permitted 30 colleges in the city to grant admissions in class XI if seats were still available for the academic year 2012-13.

A notification in this regard was issued on a direction of director-general (colleges) and CAP chairman Dr Nasir Ansar.

The permission was given to Government Degree Girls Colleges of Orangi Town 11 ½, Ibrahim Hydari, Shah Faisal Colony, Landhi Mill Area, Metrovill SITE, Quaid-e-Millat, Lyari, Baldia Town, Qasba Colony, Sector 11-C Orangi Town, Surjani Town, Safoora Goth, Pak Colony and Buffer Zone; Dukhtar-i-Mashriq Government Girls Degree College, Jamshed Road; Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Government Girls College, Manzoor Colony; Jan Mohammad Brohi Government Degree Girls College, Gulshan-e-Maymar and Government Degree Boys Colleges of Konkar Gadap Surjani Town, Manghopir, Baldia Town, Razzaqabad, Murad Memon Goth, Shams Pir Baba Bhit, Jungle Shah, Keamari, SITE and Asifabad; Government Degree Science & Commerce College, Lyari; Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Government Boys College, Bihar Colony and Government Haji Abdullah Haroon Government College.—Staff Reporter
