Golden words

The quotes published in the Golden words section are always inspiring and motivating.

Right after getting the copy of Young World magazine from the hawker, before reading anything else, I specifically turn to page no 6 to read Golden words.

The quotes of great people lead us to the way of living a happy and successful life and if we begin to follow what wise people have said, we can bring a positive change in our lives.

Quiz

It is very nice to see a quiz every week in Young World now and I enjoy attempting it and later on I put these questions to my family and friends.

Please keep publishing the quiz each week as it enhances our knowledge.

The veil

This is with reference to the story The veil by Sabihey Namazi (YW, August 18, 2012). I appreciate the writer’s effort of giving us a wonderful story to read which contained an important lesson for kids.

Tennis

The review of the book Tennis by Bridget Marrison was nicely done by S.F. in the September 1, 2012 issue of Young World.

Tennis is my favourite sport and this book is a great source to enhance my knowledge about this wonderful game. Now I can impress my parents and friends through my advanced knowledge about tennis.

Plants’ facts

Facts about human brain published in the September 8, 2012, issue of Young World were very interesting to read. I request you to publish more such facts not only about human organs but also about plants.

I am a student of eighth grade and I’m particularly interested in the subject of botany. I have plans to specialise in this field. Therefore, anything related to plants always captures my attention.

I request the Young World team to collect facts about plants and publish them because those who are interested in this field will find this information really useful.

The power of giving

This is with reference to the cover story The power of giving by Arif Iftikhar (YW, September 15, 2012). The article taught us a very important lesson — the more we give, the more we receive in the form of blessings.

We often disregard the importance of helping the needy, though we must realise that if today we will help others in need, tomorrow in our times of need, God will help us! It’s a proven fact that what goes around, comes around. Or we can also say it this way, as you sow so shall you reap. The seeds of our good deeds today will bring a prosperous life for us tomorrow.
