LAHORE, Sept 12: Robbers looted cash and valuables worth Rs4 million in five major hits in the city on Wednesday.

Four armed men barged in the house of trader Masood in Factory Area police limits, held family members at gunpoint and fled after looting cash, gold ornaments and other valuables worth Rs2.2 million.

Some robbers stormed into the house of Latif in Nishtar Colony police limits and took away cash and valuables worth Rs900,000.

Some armed men entered the house of Shah Mureed in Nawab Town and looted cash and valuables worth Rs300,000.Robbers burst into the house of Shamshad Husain in North Cantonment police limits and looted cash and valuables worth Rs300,000. Two gun-toting men waylaid Nabeel and his family in Defence A police limits and deprived them of cash and valuables worth Rs300,000.

Three robbers entered a photo lab in Nawankot police limits and looted Rs95,000 and four cell phones.

THEFT: Unidentified people sneaked into the house of Ejaz in Faisal Town police limits and made off with cash, jewellery and valuables worth Rs2m.
