LAHORE, Sept 7: Dozens of goods transport workers under the banner of the All Pakistan Trucks and Goods Transport Association staged a rally on Ravi Link Road on Friday against recent increase in POL prices.

Led by association office bearers, including Abdul Majid Khan and Chaudhry Arshad, the protesters blocked the road by burning tyres. They also chanted slogans against the government for raising oil prices.

They said a continuous increase in POL prices was affecting their business badly.
