KARACHI: Pakistan’s Haider Ali was disqualified in the long jump F37/38 event at the London Paralympics on Thursday after three fouls.

The Beijing silver medallist was Pakisan's only remaining hope of a medal at the Paralympics after team mate Naeem Masih failed to qualify for the T46 1,500m after running in the heats.

Ali, who has cerebral palsy, had three no jumps and was subsequently disqualfied.

The gold was won by Gocha Khugaev while Ma Yuxi of China won silver, with Dyan Buis of South Africa taking bronze.
