RAWALPINDI, Dec 26: A minor girl was killed here on Thursday when a speeding vehicle crushed her in the jurisdiction of Sadar police station.
The girl was crossing the road near Kohala Kalan when a car hit her due to which she died on the spot. The driver, however, managed to escape.
Liquor seized: The police seized 28 bottles of liquor here on Thursday.
The police said during checking of vehicles at Banni Chowk, the mobile squad signalled a Suzuki pickup but the driver did not stop the and tried to escape.—PPI
