Why have our media outlets run crazy after Veena Malik? Do they have any idea what they’re doing to her? Every time Veena M is interviewed on TV, the host invites a moulvi sahib to join in the chitchat and is asked about her actions. Which religious leader, particularly in this day and age, is going to approve of Veena M or for that matter any actress? Will any moulvi sahib approve of any of our Punjabi film heroine’s antics? It clearly indicates that the media are out to get Veena M. People, she is an actress, just like any film or TV artiste in Pakistan. Why can’t you let her be? What she does is her choice just like any TV or film actress in Pakistan. Why grill her every time she appears on her own country’s TV channel and make her stand trial?
