ATTOCK, Aug 23: Police claimed to have arrested 90 outlaws including two wanted criminals and seized weapons and narcotics from different areas of the district during Eid holidays.

The district police spokesman Javed Malik told local mediamen on Thursday that besides two hardened criminals, the police had arrested 15 proclaimed offenders, 10 court absconders, 27 gamblers and 36 other law breakers.

Furthermore, police recovered six Kalashnikovs, 12 hand grenades, two rifles, two guns, two carbines, 20 pistols, two dragger, 403 bullets, 10.5 kg hashish, 110 gram heroin, 400 gram opium, 93 bottles of liquor and stake amount of Rs290,670, he cliamed.

Separate cases have been registered against the accused by the respective police stations of the district, he said.

Meanwhile, Attock city Police have also arrested an Afghan national Shafiur Rehman  under foreign act, he maintained.
