Robbers gang busted

TAXILA, Aug 22: Hassanabdal police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a gang involved in robberies and killing of its own member over booty share issue.

Police sources said that Tariq Khan along with Haroon Khan and Mohammad Muneer looted a house of Akhter Ali in Mohallah railway station and took away valuables worth Rs1 million including 45 tola of gold.

After the robbery they fled to Shadi Khel area in Kohat where Tariq Khan and Haroon Khan developed differences with Mohammad Muneer and later killed him. —Correspondent
