Robbers strike

RAWALPINDI, Aug 10: A trader was robbed of cash by three men posing as policemen near Ayub Park while a chemist shop was looted on Peshawar Road on Friday, police said.

Hayatullah, a trader, was on his way to Saddar when three persons in police uniform intercepted him near Ayub Park and sought to search his car.

While searching, they took Rs120,000 and a mobile phone from him and escaped.

In another incident, a chemist shop was robbed by two men who held its owner at gunpoint and forced them to give up cash.—Staff Reporter
