LAHORE, Aug 2: Governor Latif Khosa has said some remarks of judges during the course of hearing speak about their decisions.

Speaking to a delegation of the Press Council of Pakistan at the Governor’s House here on Thursday, he said: “Remarks about sending another prime minister home are not only creating confusion but also affect the dignity of judiciary.” He said all institutions should work under the ambit of the Constitution. The governor said the PPP had given sacrifices more than any other political party for restoration of judiciary and democracy. He said the PPP always respected the judiciary and its decisions.

He said after the 18th amendment the press as fourth pillar of the state was playing its role effectively.
