LANDI KOTAL, July 27: Khyber Agency political agent on Friday sentenced three drug smugglers and a kidnapper to a collective rigorous imprisonment of 49 years and fined them with Rs200,000.

A press note said Khasadar force arrested Mohammad Manzoor, Mohammad Ayub and Pervaiz Khan on a checkpost and recovered one kilogram heroin from them.

The force also raided a house in Jamrud and arrested Nasseb Khan and recovered an abducted man from his house.

The convicts will undergo another one year imprisonment if they failed to submit the fine on time.—Correspondent
