Papers of 10 cleared for PP-142

LAHORE, Dec 18: The nomination papers of 10 candidates vying for the byelections on PP-142 were cleared by the returning officer on Thursday, the last day of nomination papers scrutiny.

The candidatures of Khwaja Salman Rafique, Inamullah Khan Niazi, Dr Nawab Amber Shahzada, Muhammad Ilyas, Shahid Mahmood, Abdul Rashid, Haji Qaiser Amin Butt, Ameerul Azeem, Ziauddin Ansari, Haji Muhammad Imtiaz were cleared by the RO on Wednesday.

Muhammad Qaiser and Aamir Salim Bhatti presented their B.A. degrees in original after which they were cleared for PP-142.

Zaeem Qadri withdrew his candidature for PP-142.

The candidates can withdraw their papers till Dec 27.
