TIMERGARA, July 20: Students of private educational institutions have performed well in the higher secondary school certificate examination 2012 announced by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Malakand, on Friday.

Ms Tasneem of Air Foundation School and College, Timergara topped the over examination obtaining 960 marks, Wasim Shah of the Allama Iqbal Model School, Sakhakot, Malakand Agency stood second by obtaining 941 marks, while Ziaullah of the Ghandhara College of Science and Technology, Chakdara bagged 939 marks securing third position, respectively.

In pre-medical (girls) group, Ms Tasneem of Air Foundation School and College bagged 960, Ms Komal Akbar of the Jamal English Education Academy, Chakdara got 937 while Ms Noora Qazi of the Air Foundation School and College, Timergara secured 932 marks and stood first, second and third, respectively.

In pre-medical (boys) group, Ziaullah of Ghandhara College of Science and Technology, Chakdara got 939 marks, Wasimullah of Bajaur Public School and College, Khar got 935 and Abbas Ahmad of the Ghandhara College, Chakdara got 934 marks and stood first, second and third, respectively.

In pre-engineering (girls), Ms Urooj Javid of the University Girls College, Chakdara got 790 marks, Reema Gul of Frontier Education Foundation, Chakdara got 778 marks and Ruhi Naz of the Girls Degree College, Thana got 765 marks and stood first, second and third, respectively.

In humanities group, a private candidate Reema Kamal of Lower Dir got 876 marks, Sonia got 871 and Salma 849 marks and got first, second and third positions, respectively.

BANNU: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Bannu declared the intermediate (part-I and II) annual examination results on Friday.

Saeed Hadeed Hassan of Cadet College, Razmak, snatched first position by receiving 976 marks and Sammia Jabeen of Frontier Education Foundation and Waseem Khan of Degree College Bannu-II got second position by receiving 971 marks each. Mohammad Irfan of Degree College, Bannu-II secured the third position by getting 968 marks. The degree college Bannu-II excelled by getting seven top positions in the exam.
