ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court decided on Tuesday to form a five-member larger bench to hear the Benazir-murder case over the registration of the second FIR, DawnNews reported.

The larger bench would start the hearing of the case from the next week.

A three member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the case pertaining to the second FIR registered for the murder of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

The attorney of  Chaudhry Aslam, the protocol officer of Benazir Bhutto,claimed that the former president Pervez Musharraf  was involved in the murder conspiracy against Bhutto.

He also claimed that the' Chaudhrys of Gujrat' (the PML-Q) also had old rivalry with Bhutto. Adding that, Pervez Elahi’s name was also mentioned in the letters and e-mails of Bhutto.

The attorney said that his client’s petition had some weightage regarding second the FIR.

The Chief Justice remarked over attorney's allegations against Pakistan Muslim League -Q’s leader Pervaiz Elahi that “he is now Deputy PM in the PPP government.”
