KARACHI, July 9: The duo of Dr Sarfraz and Anwer Mumtaz Kizilbash with 60.92 per cent score won the Karachi Bridge Association's weekend bridge tournament at the Aslam Bridge Hall on Sunday evening.

Dr Sarfraz-Kizilbash stole the show by their magnificent performance when they outscored all other competitors.

Tanvir Mazahir-Ghaffar Qureshi finished second with score of 57.45 per cent and Gulzar Bilal-Khaled Mohiuddin made a late effort thus succeeded to finish third having scored 57.44 per cent, just a shade behind the runners-up.

In the team event, GM having the services of Ghulam Mohammad, Saleem Zaki, Masud Mazhar,Tanvir Mazahir and Shaikh Muqeet, won four matches. Tehsin's team finished second with score of 68 victory points winning three matches, while Foxy finished third.—APP
