Cricket manager to head soccer league

SYDNEY, July 6: Football Federation Australia said on Friday it had recruited Cricket Australia administrator Damien de Bohun as the new head of the domestic A-League competition.

De Bohun, who was executive general manager in market development for Cricket Australia since 2005, takes over from Lyall Gorman, who is now in charge of the new A-League club Western Sydney Wanderers.—AFP
