KARACHI, June 25: The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) is considering denying of municipal services to all those housing societies that fail to undertake development work on the land allotted to it. This was stated by KMC Administrator Muhammad Hussain Syed, who observed that the city needed 1.2 million more housing units but many societies had not started any development work for long. The increasing population was affecting the city infrastructure, he said.—PPI
