KARACHI, June 24: Activists of Jamaat-i-Islami, Shabab-i-Milli and other organisations took out a rally here on Sunday in support of an Islamic revolution in the country. The rally, Islamic Revolution Caravan’ set off from Quaidabad and ended at Korangi Crossing, according to a JI press release.

Speaking to the participants, JI general-secretary Liaquat Baloch and other leaders including Mohammad Hussain Mehnati and Nasrullah Khan Shajee alleged that the Establishment had thrust terrorists upon the peace-loving people of Karachi. They urged people to support the party in its struggle for an Islamic revolution and steer the country out of the current crises.—Staff Reporter
