THATTA, June 23: An all-parties conference will be held on Sunday to discuss the establishing of Zulfikarabad City Project and a sit-in in Chuhar Jamali on Friday next.

Former legislators, members of civil society and leaders of public opinion have consented to attend the conference, Chairman, Jeay Sindh Mahaz, Riaz Chandio said while talking to journalists in Makli on Saturday.

He said that he had talked to former senator Syed Shafqat Hussain Shah Shirazi, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (F) leader Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Qasmi, leaders of different nationalist parties and others for evolving consensus on the issue.

PPP had pushed the country towards bankruptcy and was planning this gigantic project which would change the demographic structure of lower Sindh The government had failed in providing potable water to people of Thatta and was planning such a mega city, he said adding rulers had betrayed people who voted them to power and ruining the legacy of PPP.
