KARACHI, June 19: Four brothers were killed when a wall of their house collapsed on them in Korangi’s Gilgit Colony on Tuesday.

They were taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where three-year-old Shahabuddin, five-year-old Adeel and seven-year-old Saud succumbed to their injuries.

Their fourth sibling, four-year-old Shiraz, was admitted for treatment. He, however, died later.

According to SHO Dilawar Jokhio of the Zaman Town police station, the wall collapsed when the children were playing in the courtyard of their old house.

Their eldest brother, sleeping in a room, remained unharmed.

The officer said that the victims’ father was a labourer.

The bodies were han-ded over to the family, police said.
