ISLAMABAD, June 15: The management of Dunya TV Channel on Friday lodged a complaint with Kohsar police about stealing of off-air recording of a programme in which real estate tycoon Malik Riaz Hussain had appeared, police said.

Manager, Administration, of the channel, Zulfiqar Massih, in his few lines statement said that some one hatched a conspiracy against the channel by stealing the recording and making it public.

In response, the police have registered a case against unidentified person(s) and started investigation.

It maybe mentioned here that the leaked video suggests that TV anchors Mubisher Lucman and Mehr Mokhari had a pre-planned interview of Malik Riaz Hussain on Wednesday night.

A senior police officer told Dawn that the investigators had sought CCTV footage and the list of visitors and employees of the TV channel present at that day.
