KARACHI, June 1: Four ships carrying containers, chemicals and furnace oil were berthed during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Friday.

Meanwhile, six more ships with containers, steel scrape, general cargo, soybean oil and diesel oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Five ships, Jenny, Jakarta Tower, Harsanadi, Genie and Bow Pride, were busy in loading and unloading containers, chemicals, furnace oil and edible oil.

A cargo volume of 63,748 tons comprising 43,548 tons of import and 20,202 tons of export was handled.
