NAWABSHAH, May 31: Three activists of the Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSSM), accused of attacking and killing eight Attock-bound passengers near Qazi Ahmed, were arrested by police on Thursday. They are Ashraf Malukani, Mukhtiar Leghari and Niaz Leghari.

They were arrested on the basis of information provided by Aijaz Pirzada who broke down during the interrogation. He had been arrested from Doulatpur.

They confessed to have committed the crime and said  that the attack was a reaction to the killing of JSMM leader Muzaffar Bhutto.

SSP of Shaheed Benazirabad Nisar Channa said their challan would soon be presented in court.—BoC
