OKARA, May 27: Robbers deprived train passengers of cash, gold ornaments and other valuables at Kissan railway station near here on Sunday.
9/Up Allama Iqbal Express heading for Sialkot from Karachi remained halted at Kissan for four hours due to its engine failure.
In the meantime, about 15 robbers appeared from adjacent maize fields and made the passengers of three bogeys hostage at gunpoint and deprived them of cash, gold ornaments, mobile phones and other valuables and decamped.—APP
