Farmer kills brother’s wife

SHEIKHUPURA, Dec 11: A farmer strangled the wife ofhis younger brother over a petty issue in Darbar Road locality of Shahkot town, some 56 km from here, on Wednesday.

He also injured his brother and two nephews.

According to details, Ishfaq had suspicion that his younger brother Mansab had cut fodder from his fields.

Ishfaq went to Mansab’s house and the two brothers started a fight following exchange of hot words.

Ishfaq tied up the neck of Mansab’s wife Sara with a dupatta when she came to the rescue of her husband.

She fell unconscious and later died. Ishfaq injured his brother and two nephews with iron rods while fleeing.

Shahkot police registered the case against Ishfaq.
