GUJRANWALA, Dec 11: The Sabzi Mandi police claimed on Wednesday the arrest of the killer of city PPP president from Kohat.

Police claimed that it received information that suspect Kashif Siddiq, the son of Vegetable Market Commission Agents Association president Haji Muhammad Siddiq, fled to Kohat after murdering Chaudhry Khalid Humayun with the help of his brother and accomplices.

Kashif was brought back to the city and being interrogated.

Police are raiding to arrest the other suspects.

FOUND DEAD: A girl was found dead while her sister recovered unconcious under mysterious circumstances from a hotel on the GT Road near Rawalpindi by-pass intersection late Tuesday.

Mansoor and his friend Ghulam Qadir had brought Samina (22) and Tanzila (24) from their house where sacked constable Sarfraz and other people were already present there. They offered the girls liquor after which Samina died while Tanzila became unconscious. She was rushed to the local DHQ Hospital where her condition was stated to be critical.

Civil Line police have taken accused Mansoor into its custody who brought Tanzila to hospital in his car.

Meanwhile, Ms Azad, the mother of girls, alleged that Ghulam Qadir, Atif, Mansoor, Sarfraz and others were responsible for the death of her daughter as they forcibly took her daughters from the house. The cause of Samina’s death will unravel after her post mortem. It is not clear that both sisters were raped after they were served liquor.

Police have registered a case against the accused and are investigating.
