LAHORE, May 12: A PML-N media coordinator has taken exception to statements of various PPP leaders chiding his party’s leadership “just for demanding implementation of court orders”.

In a statement on Saturday, PML-N media coordinator Muhammad Mehdi said mudslinging by a ‘constitutionally disqualified’ prime minister, a ‘foreign nationality holder’ interior minister and Punjab governor ‘who had been ousted from a federal ministry on corruption charges’, could not snatch ‘popular mandate’ from Nawaz Sharif and his party.

He said the PPP leadership could not cover up its corruption by raising ethnic and regional issues.
