QUETTA: Unidentified armed men gunned down a police constable in Sariab area on Saturday night.
Police said that unknown gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire at a police constable namely Abdul Qadir Mengal in Killi Badini, Sariab area and escaped from the scene.
The victim succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital. The body of the dead after autopsy was handed over to the heirs.
The police have registered the case and started efforts to trace the suspects.
