LAHORE, Dec 10: Chaudhry Shujaat Husain is expected to be elected as new president of the PML-Q after the removal of Mian Azhar, party leaders say.

However, in case Chaudhry Shujaat refused to accept the responsibility, somebody else from the Punjab could be considered for the slot.

Sources say that the possibility of the removal of Mian Amer Mahmood as the Lahore Nazim can also not be ruled out.

However, a final decision on the subject would be taken after taking all relevant people into confidence, the sources said.
