LAHORE, May 6: A teenage boy died of head injuries when his head hit a stone while diving in the city canal near Jallo Morr on Sunday.

Rescue 1122 officials shifted the victim 13-year-old Zia to Services Hospital where he died.

Rescuers said Zia of Chungi Amar Sidhu had come to the canal with his fellows.

Quoting witnesses, officials said Zia dived off the bridge into the canal and his head hit the bed. Police handed over the body to the family after legal formalities.
