LAHORE, May 4: Two more quarter-finals were decided in the National U-22 Football Championship at the Dring Stadium, Bahawalpur.

According to an official statement issued by the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), Army defeated National Youth team 2-0 in the first quarter-final with the goals coming from Mohammad Jamil (11th min) and Mohammad Asghar (49th min).

Two-goal Abdul Wahab propelled Sindh to earn 3-0 win against Punjab in the second quarter-final. Wahab hit home in the 27th and 89th minutes while Imran Hussain also scored a goal.

Earlier, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Muslim Club Karachi also qualified for the semi-final after winning their respective quarter-finals.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa defeated PMC ATH 2-1 while Muslim Club trounced Karachi Port Trust 2-0.
