Police van set afire

KARACHI: During a protest demonstration against the ongoing operation in Lyari on Wednesday, protesters set fire to a police van within the remit of the Site-A police station.

The police said that the protesters attacked a police check-post in the area. They also took away two bulletproof vests belonging to policemen who reportedly ran away from the scene amid violent protests.
