One of Pakistan’s living film legends Shabnam (who now lives in Bangladesh) is nowadays visiting Pakistan. The actress touched down in Karachi on April 23, and the next morning attended a PTV show along with her husband and celebrated music composer Robin Ghosh.

Showing solidarity with her former colleagues she went to see film star Lehri and a visit to Mehdi Hasan Khan saheb was also lined up. She was very concerned about the health of both great artistes. Shabnam’s hosts told the media that she’d be flying out to Lahore on April 28 and return to Karachi afterwards.

The actress looked very happy to be in Pakistan and told her friends that she had a great many fond memories of the time when she was an integral part of the Pakistan film industry. —PYT
