KARACHI, April 28: Some of the country’s top players are expected to feature in a super series ranking tennis championship which is due to commence at Karachi Club from May 5.

The event, which is being organised by the Sindh Tennis Association, has been sponsored by a fast food chain and carries a total prize money of Rs 75,000.

The events that will be held during the weeklong tourney include men’s singles, ladies singles, juniors’ under-17 singles (boys/girls), under-15 singles (boys/girls), under-13 singles (boys/girls), under-11 singles (boys/girls), under-9 singles (boys/girls), men’s doubles, under-15 doubles, mixed doubles and seniors 45 plus doubles.—Sports Correspondent
