Bangladesh's cricket team will not go to Pakistan as planned later this month after the Dhaka High Court upheld a legal challenge to their tour and ordered a four-week delay, a lawyer said on Thursday. The decision has left the Pakistan Cricket Board and the fans in the cricket disappointed. -Video by Dawn.com

It is sad enough that we have to beg any team to come to Pakistan but it is humiliating to see PCB beg Bangladesh. They got ICC Test status not because of their cricketing capabilities but because of huge revenue possibilities. Look at their test and one day record against top 6 teams since 1999. Having said this, foreign teams can not be blamed. Who in his right mind would want to walk on land mines? Some would argue that there is unrest in many other countries. True, but in those countries visiting sportsmen are not targeted. Remember Sri Lanka was targeted as a team? Keeping in mind current volatile situation who can guarantee it will not get repeated? I love cricket and have been a Pakistan supporter but my suggestion would be Pakistan should voluntarily observe a Sabbath for at least five years. We should first focus on cleaning up our back yard before inviting foreign teams. I hope a day would come when we would be able to choose a visiting team.

great news. good call by the high court in response to the call of the complainants. we don't want the BCB president sending the BD team in harms way just for his political and personal gain. rumor is that he is ready to sacrifice the lives of our players to gain PCB's support for the vice-presidency of ICC, so selfish a reason. pakistan can not protect the security of it's own civilians. how dare they want to use us as guinea pigs to prove to the world that playing in their soil is secure and safe!

This is the reason Muslims are in a condition they are. We are dying for BD but they can't even visit our country to play. What fear does a Muslim country has? I can understand India or western countries not coming but BD? What a joke this ummah is. Muslims have more bad times to come due to their disunity.

Pakistan is not hurt by the cancellation of the visit of the BD cricket team.
The matter of extreme grief and shock is that BD government and the cricket board, first created a hype and then reneged on their promise, as if they wanted to punish Pakistan for its crime of helping BD get the Test status.
Compared to the BD government, even Indians are better, that they have the guts to say no.
We know very well, majority of the BD people love Pakistan and wanted the tour to go ahead, but the people at the helm of the government in BD are known stooges of another country and never leave any doubt with their uttering and acts against Pakistan, to prove to their masters that they are worthy puppets. Another recent example is when BD told EU that they have objections to Pakistan getting tax free access to EU countries for two years. We also knew at that time from where BD was speaking on this issue.
Come on BD, enough is enough, stand up and behave like a sovereign nation and at least pretend that BD is not another province of India.

Trust the Balochis and Pathans who are fighting robust insurgencies against the federal government of Pakistan.
Bangladesh is a lousy cricket team anyway. What is the big fuss?
In my view, cricket is a game for loafers. It takes a whole day for an ODI match and four to five days for a Test match.
The British left the sub-continent 62 years ago, people in the sub-continent are still shamelessly imitating the British and want to be 'pucca sahibs'. Every word spoken in English is analyzed for 'correct' accent; anyone who speaks English with a local accent is openly laughed and mocked at. Speaking correct 'ingreezi' is something of a social status.

Pakistanis should do introspection of themselves. They had got nothing out of the terrorist activity neither will be able to get.Renounce terrorist activity & see the change in the attitude of the people looking at Pakistan(Earlier a part of India).
The history cant be changed just by changing the contents of the textbooks.
