ISLAMABAD: Chairman Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) Mian Raza Rabbani on Wednesday said that all decisions would be taken in larger interest of the country.

Talking to a private television channel, he said that the committee is discussing different matters of national interest and added that all the steps would be taken in consultations with participants of the committee.

Replying to a question about JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s decision to end the boycott of the PCNS meetings, he said that the step would further strengthen democracy and national institutions.

Welcoming the positive gesture of the JUI-F chief, he said that all the political parties are united on major national issues.

Replying to another question regarding Nato supply, he said “No comments can be made on the Nato supply issue before the final recommendations of participants of the committee.”
