Believe it or not, our very own Veena Malik has garnered a huge fan-following in India. As we all know, Veena M is doing a reality show Swyamvar (latest season) on Indian TV. The programme is about marriage, suitors and all that jazz. In a segment called Veena Ka Vivah (Veena’s marriage) the gal, till last reports trickled in, had received a staggering 72,000 shaadi requests. Interestingly, the requests came from all parts of the world (Europe, Australia, the Middle East and of course the subcontinent), most of them were from India.

An over-the-moon Veena M responded to her suitors thus, “I’m humbled by the response I have received and thrilled that majority of the entries have come in from India. I want to thank everybody for their continuous love, support and faith in me and I hope they will hold my hand in the most important journey of my life.”

Sure, Veena M. Just how many of them would hold your hand?
