KARACHI, March 24: Hollywood star Sean Penn visited the Bilquis Edhi Female Child Home in Clifton here on Saturday.

He was accompanied by the Consul General of the United States in Karachi, William Martin.

He was received by Maulana Abdus Sattar Edhi and Begum Bilquis Edhi.

The double Oscar winner visited various sections of the Edhi Home, including classrooms and the computer centre. He praised the social and humanitarian work that had been undertaken by the Edhi Foundation and said that it was an honour for him to have the opportunity to meet a personality like Maulana Edhi.
