KARACHI, Dec 4: The chief of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Altaf Hussain, has thanked Pir Pagara for his support to the MQM nominee for the chief minister’s slot in Sindh.

In his telephonic conversation with Pir Sahib, Mr Hussain pledged to help improve the law and order situation in Sindh for better industrialization and investment situation.

He said they would work together to solve the problem of water in Sindh and to get the “usurped rights” of its people. Besides, Mr Hussain added, his party would make efforts to give employment to the people of Pakistan.

Mr Hussain offered Eid greetings to Pir Sahib, who returned the wishes, says a press release faxed from London on Wednesday night.
