KGA Gym beat Sadiq Sports

KARACHI, Nov 18: KGA Gymkhana registered their second success in the Sixth Danish Trophy (Ramazan) cricket tournament, after beating Sadiq Sports by 62 runs at the KGA ground Sunday.

Winning the toss and having first use of the home wicket, KGA Gymkhana raced to 188 for five in the 20 allotted overs with Freddie Dcruze top scoring with an aggressive knock of 45. Sunil Shanker (38), Hilary Rodrigues and Andre Bernard with 29 apiece and Calvin Gonsalves (22), were also among the runs.

Sadiq Sports in reply were restricted to 126 for seven in their 20 allotted overs with Waqar Zubair 52 not out and Danish Iqbal (32) batting well.

For the winners, Patrick Deniz 2/17, Victor Sebastian 2/21 and Andre Bernard 2/23, bowled a tidy line and length.
