PESHAWAR, Dec 3: IGP Mohammed Saeed Khan has directed the police force to ensure prevention of firing into air on sighting Shawwal moon and all sort of obscenity, gambling and other turpitude in the fairs and exhibitions organized on the during the Eid days.

Speaking to police officers on Tuesday, Mr Khan directed the officials to contact the people in their respective areas to convince them not to resort to firing in the air on either sighting the Shawwal moon or celebrating the Eid, said a press release.
