Seven of a family killed in accident

FAISALABAD, Dec 2: Seven members of a family were killed when their car collided head-on with a speeding bus near Gatwala Forest Park on the Faisalabad-Sheikhupura Road, some 14 kilometres from here, on Monday.

Rifaat Mahmood, along with his family, was going to Sheikhupura from Faisalabad by a car (LXY-3739). Near Gatwala, a speeding bus (LHS-4790) coming from the opposite direction hit the car with a big bang. All inmates of the car died on the spot. The area people, including labourers of nearby mills, took out bodies of the injured by cutting the smashed car.

The dead have been identified as Rifaat(37), his wife Shazia Parveen, daughters Monahal and Mahnoor, his relative Abdul Jaleel, daughter Majida and Nasira Begum.
